  • Schnadiger Weiher in Kaunerberg: 2 km long through a wonderful snowy spruce forest
  • Ögghöfe: 2 km long - directly in Feichten, illuminated from 17:00 to 23:00
  • Verpeil: 3.2 km from the viewing platform "Adlerblick" to Feichten
  • Fendels: 4.5 km


By the way: for the toboggan run Verpeil and the toboggan run in Fendels we have been awarded the toboggan seal of approval from the province of Tyrol!

Those who prefer solid ground under their feet, choose one of the countless winter hiking trails.

Children who are too young or not that brave will be well-cared for at Kaunertal Glacier Kinderland! Do your kids need a break, even from the skis? Right next to the sun terrace of the Weißsee restaurant, there is an adventure playground with swings, trampoline, and climbing wall.

Fendels is the family friendly ski area par excellence! It features many attractive child-friendly activities. For example, the kids can let off some steam at BIBI Kinderland near the valley station of the cable car. And whether you opt for the giant slalom, downhill racing, or a ride through the tunnel, a holiday in Fendels is anything but boring! Mum and dad can let loose on one of the forest slopes. 

Good to know:tasty children's meals and snacks are on offer. There are also special children's ski lessons and, of course, not just in Fendels, but also in the neighbouing Kaunertal Glacier ski area.

Winterberg Fendels - the ideal ski resort for families

Family friendly - family ski area Fendels! The Winterberg in Tyrol attracts with many child-friendly offers. Near the valley station of the cable car your little ones romp around in the BIBI Kinderland. Whether giant slalom, races or a ride through the tunnel - it is guaranteed not boring! Mom and dad meanwhile gas on one of the forest runs.

Good to know: For the small or big hunger in between, delicious children's dishes are offered in the restaurant Sattelklause at the mountain station of the Vierersesslbahn and in the Tryenstube at the valley station. As well as special children's ski courses - and of course not only in Fendels, but also in the neighboring ski resort Kaunertal Glacier.

The Bambini free ski pass especially for young winter tourists

Young skiers go big: with the Bambini Free Pass, the whole family benefits in the Kaunertal! All children under the age of eight travel free when travelling with mum or dad. And not only that: kids between eight and fifteen enjoy a reduced child’s rate. This way everyone can have dessert when taking a well-deserved rest from the slopes!

By the way, the small village lift in Feichten is especially popular with kids! In addition to the practice lift, you can look forward to an exciting "Show on snow" every Tuesday night. Fendels also offers night sledding and skiing every Thursday night in winter.

  • Ögghöfe: 2 km to Feichten, night lighting from 17:00 to 23:00
  • Verpeil: 3.2 km from the Adlerblick observation deck to Feichten
  • Fendels: 4.5 km

Small tip with great charm: the village lift in Feichten

Looking for something special? At the “Easpenhang” you will find a small ski area with a very special flair. The Feichten village lift is equally popular with newcomers to the slopes and “old” skiers. The “Show On Snow” takes place every Tuesday evening, where piste professionals show what they can do. You can also take a journey into the past and find out more about the history of skiing in the Kaunertal.
