"Mit aller Kraft" - Klima, Gletscher, Kaunertal

Our climate is changing – this is both noticeable and measurable...

The permanent exhibition „Mit aller Kraft. Klima, Gletscher, Kaunertal“ offers a variety of perspectives on climate and glaciers. It offers insights into global climate research and showcases scientific projects on the Gepatschferner glacier at the head of the Kaunertal valley. It presents the first promising results for our future and highlights the diversity of ideas and the significant impact of local climate initiatives in the Kaunergrat region, as well as the deep connection the people of the Kaunertal have with their glacier. It approaches the themes of climate and glaciers through the medium of architecture, art and music, recalls the construction of the power station in the 1960s and gives the people of the Kaunertal a voice.
