Being a Tyrolean cross-country specialist
As a region that has been named a Tyrolean cross-country skiing specialist, you can definitely expect the best from us!
What makes a holiday region a Tyrolean cross-country specialist? A network of at least 50 km of cross-country trails with guaranteed snow as well as adequate support and infrastructure for the sport. Visitors will notice this in the excellent service provided at the start of the main trail. Where can you find all this? Right in the town of Feichten in the Kaunertal nature park and glacier region!
Not only that: being a Tyrolean cross-country specialist also stands for the highest quality in training, too. Beginners, advanced skiers, or the particularly ambitious should inquire about the various cross country courses on offer. The quality, of course, extends to the rental of cross-country skis as well.

Barrier-free cross-country skiing in the nature park and glacier region
The Kaunertal is a true role model for accessibility, also when it comes to cross-country skiing. Four trails in the valley bear a special seal of quality and are just one of many projects designed to create winter holidays without barriers.
These four cross-country trails from Platz to Grasse are wheelchair accessible. In addition, a few sets of cross-country skiing sleds for wheelchair users are also available. These can be tested in the company of trained teachers on the red and blue trails.
