Rund um den Reschensee

We start in Nauders in the town centre and cycle past Naudersberg Castle and follow the Via Claudia Augusta over the Reschen Pass. At the highest point, there is a marvellous view of Lake Reschen and the gigantic mountain world of the Ortler massif. At the shore of Lake Reschen, we keep to the right and follow the cycle path along the lake shore to the dam wall. From here, we continue along the right bank of the lake (beware of a short gravel section that can be bypassed via the main road) past the historic tower in the lake (interesting historical documentation right by the car park) until we reach the northern bank of the lake. From there we follow the Via Claudia Augusta back to our starting point in Nauders.
