Durch das Piengtal direkt zum Berghotel Jochelius

The shortest hiking trail no. 19 to the mountain resort of Jochelius in the Piengtal valley leads past the Ortlerblick south of the parish church through the Mittlere Pitsche out to the legendary Heiligbaumboden. From there, the route continues fairly flat to Stierhaag am Piengbach and then climbs steeply up through the Piengtal valley. At an altitude of 1,800 metres, cross the Piengbach stream and follow the short steep section to the Goldseehütte at 1,857 metres. The descent leads back to the village via the same route. Caution: On the last 200m along the ski piste, please watch out for skiers! Walking time: 2 hours
