Family adventure hike through the Gallruth tunnel

Guided hike with our hiking guide through an old irrigation tunnel to the Gallruthalm. The return route leads along the panoramic trail from the Gallruthalm to the Falkaunsalm.
Our hiking guide will introduce you to the history and beauty of this mountain breakthrough in an exciting way on this adventure hike. The tunnel was once used to bring water to the slopes of the Kaunerberg. It is still in operation today during very dry summers. It leads brave adventurers 990 meters into the mountain on a discovery tour. At the end of the tunnel, an idyllic high valley opens up before us. After a half-hour hike, the Gallruthalm invites you to take a leisurely break amidst the majestic mountain scenery. The hike leads back along the panoramic trail to the Falkaunsalm. (Children must be accompanied, refreshments available at both huts).
Meeting point: 10:00 at the Kaunertal information office, ascent possible with the hiking bus or with your own car
