Wrapped up warm, you'll wander from stand to stand at the Christmas market, steaming cup of mulled wine or punch in hand, and a generous portion of roasted chestnuts to keep you going. Kaunertal Christmas market "Winterwundertal" 
Every Saturday throughout Advent, as well as Sunday, 28th December 2025, the romantic Advent market takes place on the village square in the heart of Feichten in the Kaunertal, from 16:00 to 21:00.

Parking & public transport to the market
Sustainability is at the heart of the Advent market! We encourage you to make use of public transport — a special shuttle bus runs between Prutz and Feichten throughout the season. For those arriving by car, parking is available near the Quellalpin Kaunertal.

Christmas market at Naturpark Kaunergrat
The festive spirit reaches all the way to Piller Sattel and the Gachenblick, home to the Kaunergrat Nature Park Museum and its very own Christmas market. The famous carol 'Silent Night', composed not too far from here, could not be more fitting for this truly magical place. If the stillness of winter speaks to your soul, this is the Christmas market for you.
On 12th, 13th, and 20th December 2026, the market comes alive with the sounds of choirs and musical groups filling the winter air with festive warmth. Discover handcrafted treasures and seasonal delicacies - and take your time, the market is open from 12:00 to 18:00.
Christmas carols at the Kaltenbrunn pilgrimage church
Maybe not quite so quiet, but just as contemplative is the traditional carolling in Kaltenbrunn. Well-known melodies will surely get even the most grumpy Scrooge to give into the festive spirit. The unique atmosphere in the pilgrimage church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary certainly helps. You'll want to be sure to put this heavenly concert on your agenda during your pre-Christmas visit to the Kaunertal.
