For centuries, people have been making their way to Kaltenbrunn: with prayers, with thanks, with whatever they carry in their hearts. The Wonder Trail follows this pilgrimage and leads to a church where faith and history meet.
Along the way there are quiet chapels and wayside shrines, and Berneck Castle towers above the valley. Contemporary witnesses share stories about work and faith, the construction of the Hangkanal, and the resilience of the people of the Kaunertal.
A QR code at the start lets you get going straight away on your smartphone, without needing an app.

Once you have completed the entire Wonder Trail, you will receive a beautiful Swiss stone pine medal at the Kaunertal Tourist Information Office.
