With a population of just 250, this town is one of the smallest municipalities in the state, but it offers what are probably the grandest views in the region. Did you know that Fallender Bach waterfall has been adopted as the natural symbol for all of the Tyrolean Oberland? You can visit it via the Fendels hiking trail. But apart from this natural spectacle, there is an impressive mountain landscape waiting to be explored. Take a hike to the Fendler Alm, the Stalanzalpe, or the Anton Renk hut!
Good to know: anyone who prefers can take the mountain lifts in Fendels up to the Sattelklause mountain restaurant. Ideal for family outings with less experienced hikers or small children.
