Strategy Process and Innovation Circle

The Innovation Circle brings together key decision-makers from across the Kaunertal experience region to prioritise and drive forward the project ideas developed collectively during the strategy process. Future projects planned by individual stakeholders will also be brought to this body for joint discussion and evaluation. Sustainability is the guiding evaluation criterion, ensuring that all projects are assessed in a balanced and comprehensive way across socio-cultural, ecological, and economic dimensions. For the duration of the project, the circle includes key representatives from the CLAR Kaunergrat municipalities of Kaunertal, Kauns, Kaunerberg, and Fendels, alongside the nature park, the glacier railways, and the tourism association.

Goals for the Circle:

• The ‘Innovation Circle’, developed as a project during the Strategy Process in collaboration with all stakeholders and interested parties, is being successfully implemented
• In the medium and long term, the Innovation Circle will become an effective tool for evaluating project ideas with a focus on sustainability. This includes the project ideas developed by all participants during the strategy process, as well as new ideas from the region
• The Innovation Circle meets regularly under professional guidance
• The Innovation Circle prioritises the project ideas developed during the Strategy Process and puts them into practice
• The work of the Innovation Circle is documented independently, and 10 meetings will be held by mid-2024
