Anton Wille’s grand piano museum in Nufels is unique not least because its layout is in the shape of a grand piano. Anton Wille - organist, wood artist and farmer - dedicated many years of his life to his passion of collecting and repairing many historic grand pianos so that they could be played again.
His “Flügelhaus” is used for concerts and different events and to exhibit his instruments. He was also passionate about creating unique pieces of art from delicately carved wood. They are resplendent with light and will put you under their spell! For instance, Anton Wille says about the Swiss stone pine: “Much like me, it has grown for a long time, lives in the toughest conditions and is still soft."
Why not visit the exhibition by Martin Frey at the Kaunertal glacier between June and September - the exhibition shows the beginnings of alpinism in Kaunertal leading to today’s tourism. Free entry.
"3000 m vertical” - the splendid title of the exhibition at Kaunergrat Nature Park House. The exhibition relates to the many living spaces at Kaunergrat nature park and invites all visitors to take a walk through the craggy and monumental summits of Kaunergrat. The walk ends on the warm and dry sunny slopes of Inntal. The film "Dream trip into the past” gives an impression of the regional habits during the Bronze and Roman Ages and shows the changes in the nature park through the seasons.
