Fendels is situated in a splendid location offering awe-inspiring panoramas. In winter, Fendels is a skiing paradise for families. In summer, Fendels awaits with its idyllic mountain landscape and many wonderful hikes such as to the Anton Renk mountain hut or the over 100 m high waterfall “Fallender Bach”.
With around 250 inhabitants, Fendels is one of the country’s smallest municipalities. Nestling on the majestic Glockturmkamm ridge and in a panoramic location above the Inntal valley, Fendels is a contemplative holiday paradise away from the main tourist crowds. With farsightedness, nature here has long been treated with care. The hiking lift takes you to an impressive mountain world including “Fallender Bach” waterfall - the natural symbol of the entire region. Fendels is 1,356 m above sea level and can boast a unique view over the Tyrolean Oberland. In summer, Fendels is the ideal starting point for hikes to Fendler Alm lodge, Anton-Renk-Hütte with its breath-taking Fallenden Bach waterfall, Stalanzalpe etc. The cable car and chair lift make the climb to the Sattelklause mountain station easier for less experienced hikers. In winter, Fendels is a skiing paradise for families. 16 km of slopes with family-friendly as well as demanding descents and an award-winning 4.5km toboggan run await you.
